We have been supporting some of the argan oil women's cooperatives in Morocco by importing the oil they process and selling it here in Canada. It has recently become more familiar now in Canada due to the fact some well-known body care products are made with it. For example, Moroccan Oil is being used in quite a few hair salons and it contains argan oil, among many other ingredients. L'Oreal, Kiehls, Nivea and others all have products that contain argan oil
The women's cooperatives also process the argan seeds for culinary purposes, resulting in a wonderful nutty tasting oil that is delightful on salads and as a finishing oil.
